About Me

Sandra Hong, MACP, LMHCA, MHP

I hold a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Northwest University, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (MC 60897377) in Washington State. I'm also certified as a Mental Health Professional (MHP), allowing me to support a wide range of client needs.

I work with both adolescents and adults who are navigating challenges such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and interpersonal difficulties. Many of my clients feel stuck — in careers, relationships, or recurring emotional patterns — and are looking for meaningful change. Together, we work to identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop practical coping strategies, and move towards healing and growth.  I am empathetic in my approach and will never judge your experiences or setbacks. I aim to create a safe space and validation, but I will also provide insight and correction so you can work towards change. I welcome culturally attuned work, particularly from an Asian American perspective, where issues like perfectionism and emotional un-expressiveness often impact mental health. If desired, I also offer Christian counseling for clients who want to integrate faith into the therapeutic process. We can incorporate biblical doctrine to navigate challenges and grow your faith.
